Kevin Gruden: piano/voice: Kevin holds a BM from Duquesne University. A featured concert soloist throughout the eastern United States, adjunct professor of voice at Westminster College School of Music, Point Park College Musical Theatre Department, and CMU School of Drama's pre-college summer program. Mr. Gruden is a Pittsburgh Concert Society Winner, has been named beneficiary of the prestigious Obershenk Medallion Trust, and has appeared as guest vocal artist with the Steinway Society of Western Pennsylvania. As tenor soloist with the Virginia Symphony, Mr. Gruden performed the role of “Florestan” in a concert-version of Beethoven's Fidelio, as well as several series of performances of Beethoven and Schubert works.
Angela Lu: Voice/Piano, holds a B.M degree in Music performance from Shenyang conservatory of music, earned both Master degree and artist diploma degree in music performance from Duquesne University where she also functions as a graduate assistant for the voice department. Xiaorui performed roles in productions of Le Nozze di Figaro, Dido and Aeneas, Rita. Also she performed several scenes and recitals. Taught voice group lessons, private lessons (voice and piano) and choir for years, and gave several performances.
Ada Lis Jimena: Vocalist, earned her B.M degree in Music Education from Music School, National University of Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina and her M.M degree in Evaluation in Education from Playa Ancha University. Ms. Jimena has sung for different organizations and music companies in USA. Among them are Opera Roanoke (VA), Summer Musical Enterprises (VA), Festival Summer Bel Canto (MI), Young Audience (VA), Roanoke College (VA), Wofford College (NC), St. John Episcopal Church (VA), Roanoke public library (VA), Hollins University (VA), Maryland University (DC). During 2012 - 2016, Ada Lis has expanded her career as lecturer presenting “Tango history”, “Argentina folk regions” and “The invisible training: Vocal training, synergy between exercise, nutrition and rest”, at universities and music schools in USA and Argentina.
Bonita Liu : Voice/Piano, Bonita Liu is currently a candidate for Doctor of Musical Arts in vocal performance at University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign. She received her MM in vocal performance from Duquesne University, and a BA from Shenyang Conservatory of Music in China. She has performed major role Mrs. Alice in Verdi’s opera Falstaff, Lauretta in Puccini’s opera Gianni Schicchi, Sour Angelica, Carmen, and Hansel and Gretel. Ms. Liu held many solo voice recitals as well. She appeared in many major international voice competitions such as The Gerda Lissner International Vocal Competition, Seoul International Music Competition, and the winner of concerto competition at University of Illinois. Ms. Liu has had numerous success teaching students of all ages, whether they aspire to become professionals or just singing as a hobby, her teaching techniques are adaptive to each individual student’s needs.
