John Marcinizyn: Guitarist, John performs frequently as a soloist, with contralto Daphne Alderson, in the Ortner-Marcinizyn Duo (gypsy jazz), the Ferla-Marcinizyn Guitar Duo, Duo Cieli (flute and guitar duo), The Red Hot Ramblers (Dixieland jazz) and groups ranging from The Bach Choir of Pittsburgh to Billy Price. His versatility as an acoustic and electric guitarist allows him to perform in many styles including classical, jazz, flamenco, rock, blues, and folk. John has also performed guitar and banjo for many theater companies. His playing can be heard on eight CDs and one DVD. His Latest CD “Blue Ride” is a collection of original instrumentals, and is available on itunes. John holds a Ph. D. in music composition and theory from the University of Pittsburgh, and is an Artist-Lecturer in guitar and composition at Carnegie Mellon University and Seton Hill University.

Dan Zaunick: Dan received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from Duquesne University. He has been teaching guitar and bass for thirty-three years. Dan has performed in a variety of ensembles, such as Rock, Blues, Jazz, and Country. He currently performs sacred music in local churches.Dan enjoys teaching students of all ages and abilities. He provides individualized instruction to meet the needs of all his students.
Wayne Smith: teaches Guitar, Electric Bass, songwriting, theory, and improvisation. He is comfortable teaching all styles of acoustic/electric guitar & bass; Rock, Country, Bluegrass, Blues, Jazz, slide guitar, & just about any style in between. In addition, he has many years of experience teaching students of all ages & all levels -- beginner to advanced musicians.
Wayne has performed up & down the East Coast, from large local venues - The First Niagara Pavilion to the famed jazz club - The Knitting Factory in NYC. He has recorded at most major recording studios in Pittsburgh, playing on a variety of recordings by many different artists.
Wayne has a B.A. from Alderson Broaddus University & post graduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh.
