*7/13/2022 Lydia Music Center visited Halcyon Senior Living and brought Chinese Program to seniors. The programs combine Chinese Instrument Er Hu, Flute, Guqin, and traditional Chinese dance, Chinese folk song; etc.
* 8/8/2020 PSO Assistant Principal Cello Adam Liu's online workshop is very smoothly held by Lydia Music Center. Wish all students keep up good work for one more week, and can't wait to hear their performances at the end of workshop.
* 6/30/2018 The Lydia Music Center Chamber Music Summer Camp Concert was held successfully. Thanks to All parents, Faculty members of Lydia Music Center Summer Camp.
*Congratulations to the Lydia Music Center String Orchestra for its successful performance! On Sunday 6/3/2018, at the Taylor Allderdice High School auditorium, the Lydia Music Center String Orchestra was honored to be invited by the Pittsburgh Chinese School to perform at the school graduation ceremony. The Chinese school 2018 graduation ceremony kicked off with Beethoven's 5th and 9th symphonies performed by the LMC Orchestra. The wonderful performance was conducted by Marco Ferri and won a warm applause from the audience!
*Lydia Music Center's Orchestra officially formed on 3/3/2018 at 7:00 pm. Student are divided by three groups: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Students will have a regular group lesson every week on Friday and Saturdays and hold additional rehearsals as needed to prepare for performances.
*2/5/2018 Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra Associate Principal Cellist Adam Liu's Faculty Concert was very successful. Over 200 people were full of joy after the concert, they shared their feeling about the concert each other at Reception Hall. Lydia Music Center is very proud to have helped organize this concert.
*Lydia Music Center's Children's Chorus officially formed on 9/23/2017 at 5:00 pm. Student are divided by two groups: Beginner and Intermediate. Students will have a regular group lesson every week on Saturdays and hold additional rehearsals as needed to prepare for performances.
*9/17/2017 Chinese culture festival Lydia Music Center performance! 5 performances which include: a violin concerto, cello concerto, violin ensemble, chorus by students representing LMC, and saxophone by teacher Mark Priore, what a huge success!
*7/29/2017, Lydia Music Center Summer Chamber Music 2017 concert was very successful. Parents were so happy and excited about it, saying that the kids loved the 8 hours of intensive training every day, it didn't wear them out, and they couldn't wait to go to the Summer Camp every morning! They joined in last year, this year, and they will be with us next year too!
* Congratulations for the First Time Grant Concert "East Meets West" Brought by Lydia Music Center and Pittsburgh Symphony Assistant Principal Cello Adam Liu. It was held on 2/28/2017 7:30 pm at Duquesne University PNC Recital Hall. Featuring Adam Liu, cello; David Allen Wehr, piano; Seth Beckman, piano; and with special guests from Lydia Music Center. Adam Liu and Lydia Music Center Owner Lydia Shi successfully hosted the Concert in both English and Chinese.
Allegheny County Council Woman Cindy Kirk presented a County Proclamation in the concert for Adam and Lydia.
*Congratulations to our first annual Christmas concert for Lydia Music Center was on December 18th!
